Comments, Instructions, or Additional Information:	Sheldon ISD is a desirable, fast-growth, arts-supporting district in northeast Houston, and we have an opening for a full-time Art Teacher position at Sheldon Lake Elementary School (Grades 1-5). Sheldon Lake Elementary, located right along Beltway 8, is less than 5 years old and is designated as a Performing and Visual Arts focused campus with amazing arts facilities to match. The program is financially supported for participation in events like TAEA TEAM and after school arts, and students matriculate from SLE to successful, award-winning art programs at Null Middle School and C.E. King High School. Salaries and budgets are competitive with the area market, including a recent 3.5% across-the-board raise to bring certified 1st year teachers to $65,000 and ACP-seeking adjunct teachers to $63,000.
