What I Love About TAEA: I love the opportunities that TAEA provides for professional development, advocacy for art education in the community, and continuous support of fellow art teachers. I look forward to the TAEA Conference every year because it sparks creative ideas to take back to the classroom and renews my love for what I do to help students foster imagination, creativity, and their passion for the visual arts. Finally, TAEA has fostered friendships that will last a lifetime.

What I Love About TAEA: I love the collected gathering of passionate people who share a common interest: celebrating and advancing Visual Art Education in our state. TAEA provides an inspiring environment where we appreciate the vast diversity in our teaching approaches. I am especially grateful for the high-quality competition opportunities TAEA offers students. This level of rigorous engagement is what attracts college recruiters and shows we, as a community, are doing something fundamentally correct. Students gain so much from these competitions, and I am thankful we have this opportunity to connect and continue to bloom as a collective group.

I look forward to working with you as your TAEA High School Division Chair.
Texas Art Education Outreach
TAEO promotes and offers successful quality art education support to Texas art educators through mentoring and professional development presentations.
- What can you do to help the members you serve?
- Do you know a good presenter?
- Do you know someone who would be a great mentor?
- Can you send information from people who reach out to you?
- Can you reach out to other art educators?
TAEO can help with presenters and mentors.
Let's help each other to prepare, support, and encourage Texas art educators.
