Cleburne ISD is seeking an Art Teacher for Smith Intermediate School for the 2026–2027 school year. Smith Intermediate serves all district students in grades 5–6 and is part of a unified and vertically aligned Fine Arts program. This is a full-time teaching position with benefits. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Visual Arts and a commitment to developing foundational artistic skills, creativity, craftsmanship, and critical thinking in young artists. The desired candidate demonstrates strong classroom management, organization, communication, and collaboration skills and works effectively as part of a unified Fine Arts team. We are looking for someone who values both process and product and creates a classroom culture that is positive, structured, inclusive, and student-centered.
