After a light breakfast and an introduction to Davis Publications' Davis Digital Platform at the Contemporary at Blue Star, please join us in exploring the McNay's new exhibits, Untitled: 20 Years of Collecting Contemporary Art and Garden Party, while connecting contemporary art to the lesson writing process and the elements and principles of design. After lunch on their own, while meditating on the two exhibits, participants will return to the Contemporary at Blue Star to dive into art making with a variety of supplies to exemplify their take on contemporary art and its connections to the elements and principles of design. Materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring sketchbooks or specific supplies they'd like to use to explore their thoughts on contemporary art.
