TASA / TASB
Each year, TAEA presents an exhibit of Pre-K - 12th grade artwork from across the state at the Texas Association of School Administrators & Texas Association of School Boards (TASA/TASB) Fall Conference.
Youth Art Month (YAM)
March is National Youth Art Month with Texas being a leader in YAM celebrations and events since it began. TAEA sponsors a number of programs celebrating art during the month of March.
Leadership Scholars
The TAEA Leadership Scholar Cohort Program is designed to work in tandem with the TAEA Leadership Institute to provide the membership of the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) with innovative, relevant, structured and supported professional growth focused on leadership skill sets to advance art education.
Leadership Retreat
The Leadership Institute is for members of TAEA who are interested in developing leadership skills and volunteering to serve in TAEA leadership roles.
District of Distinction
District of Distinction is an annual recognition program created by Texas Art Education Association and run by the Administration and Supervision division to honor school districts that are leading the way in the visual arts.
