Blanco Elementary School is seeking an Art Teacher to start immediately. The campus is a PK-5th Grade campus serving approximately 500 students. Primary Purpose: Responsible for creating a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth of every student; establish effective rapport with students; provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth; and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to become a responsible citizen and function successfully in society. Education/Certification: -Bachelor's degree from accredited university -Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned -Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned Special Knowledge/Skills: -Knowledge of subjects assigned -General knowledge of curriculum and instruction -Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior -Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: -At least one year of student teaching and/or approved internship, preferred Apply online: https://blancoisd.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=414 |
