Comments, Instructions, or Additional Information:	We have a wonderful elementary art position coming available for the 2024-2025 school year if anyone is interested in working in Rockwall ISD (just east of Dallas Texas). For more information go to rockwallisd.com/employment or email humanresources@rockwallisd.org Access to coaches: We have exceptional visual art teachers available to come into your room to help you through co-teaching, demonstration, or observation and feedback. Lesson plans and resources: We have lesson plans available for your use that have been written by our expert teachers. You can use them as they are, you can modify them to fit your teaching style, or you can write your own. No matter what, you will have the support you need to best serve your students. Access to materials: You will have access to the art supplies you need to teach your content. You will not need to crowdfund your art supplies. You will have the supplies you need for your students to have a variety of hands-on artmaking experiences, including painting and ceramics. We also have district specific grant opportunities exclusively for fine arts to help you bring unique equipment and opportunities to your students. Support on all levels: Our campus and district administration value the visual arts and its importance to the educational experience of our students. Our art educators are valued and included in the decision making at the campus and district level to ensure our art students have what they need. Facilities: You will have a classroom designed and equipped specifically for the visual arts. There is no "art by cart" in Rockwall ISD. You will have access to sinks, kilns, storage, and furniture designed for the specific needs of art students.
