Southwest Legacy High School Southwest ISD is seeking an energetic, dynamic, and hard-working individual to teach high school Art in the 2025-2026 school year at Southwest Legacy High School. This position requires talented, high energy applicants that are student centered and build positive student connections. Applicants should demonstrate strengths in building Art skills and developing vertical alignment with the middle school Art feeder program. The successful applicant will teach Art in grades 9-12 at Southwest Legacy High School and build a strong Art program. The applicant must have the ability to work with high school-aged students, maintain positive working relationships with parents, students and teachers. A strong work ethic, positive enthusiasm, and a high level of organization is required. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and also possess a valid Texas Teachers Certificate in Art EC-12. Experience is preferred.
