McNair Middle School Seeking an energetic, dynamic, and hard-working individual to teach middle school Art with a possible baseball/softball coaching component. The successful applicant will teach Art TEKS to students in grades 6-8. The applicant should demonstrate strengths in art teaching, as well as knowledge in coaching baseball/softball. However, all qualified Art applicants should apply because the position may become a straight art position only. The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to work with middle school aged students and maintain positive working relationships with parents, students, teachers, community. A strong work ethic, positive enthusiasm, and a high level of organization is required. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Successful applicants will be ready to carry on a tradition of excellence in Art at McNair Middle School in this additional Art position. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Art and possess a valid Texas Teachers Certificate in Art EC-12. Experience is preferred. The position is available for the 2024-2025 school year.
