Comments, Instructions, or Additional Information:	Art Teacher â€“ Central Fine Arts Academy (Duncanville ISD) Level: Elementary (opening Kâ€“5, growing to Kâ€“8) Position Type: Visual Art Duncanville ISD is seeking an innovative Art Teacher to join the founding staff of Central Fine Arts Academy, opening Fall 2026. The academy will open as a Kâ€“5 campus and expand to Kâ€“8 in subsequent years. The school is housed in the original Duncanville High School building and has been fully renovated into a state-of-the-art Fine Arts campus. Responsibilities: Provide sequential, standards-based visual art instruction Build strong foundations in drawing, painting, sculpture, and design Foster creativity, artistic voice, and craftsmanship Collaborate with Fine Arts colleagues to develop a flagship arts program Support exhibitions, showcases, and Fine Arts events Qualifications: Valid Texas teaching certificate in Art Elementary art experience preferred Strong classroom management and studio practices Passion for building a new program and campus culture Application: Apply through Duncanville ISDâ€™s online application system.
