WELCOME TO AREA IV
This past year was very successful for Area IV! We held two Mini-Conferences in 2012, and helped provide professional development opportunities for members in our Area.
GET CONNECTED
The first Mini-Conference, called “Get Connected”, was held on Saturday, March 31st at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock, TX. This Mini-Conference focused on technology in the art classroom. Sessions included information on technology-based lesson plans, ideas, and equipment. Some of the more popular sessions were on Photoshop, iPads, and Smartboards. Many of the “hands-on” technology lesson plans were also popular, such as Light Painting, Stop-Motion Animation, and Surrealist Portraits.
