TAEA Youth Art Month Flag Design Winner

TAEA is proud to announce the winners of the TAEA 2016 Youth Art Month Flag Design Competition. This year's Elementary finalist is Jilynne T. from Frisco ISD, instructed by Laverne Forwark. The Middle School finalist is Palitha R. of Coppell ISD, taught by Gail Cary. And the High School finalist is Cassidy N. of Klein ISD, taught by Mike Hall.

The TAEA Youth Art Month Flag Design Winner for 2016 is Cassidy N. of Klein-Collins High School. Cassidy's Texas-themed flag design will be this year's TEXAS YAM Flag and will represent TAEA this March in Chicago.

TAEA would like to thank all participating students and teachers of this year's YAM flag competition for their entries and dedication to celebrating Visual Arts in Texas schools.
