b'This workshop helped me discover new techniques for art creation for both 2D and 3D that Im excited to bring to my art classroom. The presenters were amazing in sharing tips, tricks, and tools to help us utilize these techniques in many ways to help all kinds of students and ideas. I plan on using all of it next year and it helps me keep my classroom fresh with new, creative ways to create and not get stuck in a rut. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! -Naomi GreenI look forward to this workshop every year as it gives me time with my fellow art teacher to learn and explore new ways to teach art, new avenues to explore for supplies, grants, etcIt gives me time to explore and be creative on my own and restore my deep desire to be an artist and give all to my students. All of the presenters/fellow artistsaresoGOODandgivesuchWONDERFUL inspirations and avenues to encourage not only me but my students also.I can not begin to tell you how much I love getting together at this workshop. Thank you so much!! -Stacey PrzilasToday was so great, thanks for all you did to help this happen!Icertainlyfeelreinvigoratedandexcitedto implement the techniques that each instructor brought to the table. I hope that the loose watercolor and line drawing approaches will enable my students to gain the confidence to try something, as well as break away from the rigid structures they are used to. I loved the beginner andadvanced-friendlyclayprojectsthatwouldalso encourage students to try a less intimidating approach to sculpture and hand building clay pieces. I can see how beneficial each of these workshops will be for my 5th graders and high schoolers. I look forward to showing my students the unique multimedia combinations with the transparency pages in layering and subtracting the different media. Additionally, I think students will love the record melting in the kiln to create an abstract piece or potential sculpture! ~Marissa Felton'
