Texas Visual Art Scholastic Event began its 31st season in January of 2024. This year, VASE hosted 29 Regional High School events with approximately 30,000 registered entries – 2,000 entries advancing to the State VASE event at the San Marcos High School of San Marcos CISD on April 27, 2024. At the state event approximately half of the entries are awarded an All-State Superior Rating and 150 artworks granted Distinguished Status with the coveted Gold Seal Award. In addition, students are awarded scholarships based on works they created on-site at the State Event Scholarship Workshop.

The date for State VASE vendors is Saturday, April 27, 2024. All of the event activities will be held on the high school campus and the vendors will be located in the cafeteria.

Because the main participants will be the best student artists in the State of Texas, TAEA/VASE is seeking vendors who will sell art materials to the students or be a college or university interested in recruiting art students.
