Get your students working on YAM Flag Designs ASAP! 2019-2020 YAM Theme: "Take A Journey Through Art" Submit ONE design per member teacher WITH a signed parent permission form. The winning entry will be made into a flag and displayed at teh National Flag Ceremony at the National Art Education Association Conference and at our TAEA State Conference. The student and teacher will be honored. Information about the National event will be sent to the winning teacher and student. YAM Flag Entry requirements: - teachers must be current TAEA members and submit ONE entry - design must be representative of Texas and adhere to the YAM Theme - use the official form found in the 2019-2020 YAM Book and on the TAEA website - scan and electronically sumbmit complete student permission form with flag - must be 2-D flat colrs for reproduction. Maximum of 7 colors (black and white count as colors) - students in PK-12, qualifying Elementary, Middle and High School Division sumbissions - winning flag announced February 7, 2020 Deadline: Email electronic YAM Flag Designs Friday, December 6, 2019 by midnight to Christine Grafe , TAEA YAM VP. |
